Au Ver À Soie d'Alger silk is loosely plyed and can be split easily.
It is made of the best quality spun pure silk which gives it an unrivalled regularity, lustrous and softness. Does not snarl in the needle and has a good tensile strength. It resists also very well to abrasion.
Soie d'Alger is a versatile product that can be used for hand embroidery, counted work, restoration, bobbin lace, and more.
