Anchor Tapestry Wool is made from 100% Pure New Wool and is designed specifically for canvas embroidery, needlepoint or tapestry as it is commonly known.

Anchor Tapestry Wool is a particularly hardwearing and durable wool with a tight twist to minimise fraying when working on canvases, which can have rough edges. The uniform twist and 4 ply construction provides an even and manageable cover for the canvas. Available in 475 colour co-ordinated shades, Anchor Tapestry Wool comes in 10m skeins, all of which are colour-fast and mothproofed to British Standards. Selected background colours are also available on 20g hanks for larger areas of background embroidery.
