The Peacock and The Rose with Robyn Alexander

"Whilst wandering in New Zealand I came across this beautiful linen tea towel from M&M Linen and decided it would make a fantastic base design for me to embroiderer. Well, I did embroider & so much more and decided to share the joy. This embroidery workshop will take you on a creative journey. I have filled the project with many different techniques to inspire and equip you to play in your own work. Some of the techniques involve fabric manipulation by thread & fire, fusing & painting. This is a big project but I assure you it is a beautiful and delightful journey. Come & play with me, Robyn Alexander."

We are delighted to announce that Robyn Alexander will be teaching at The Den for the first time in many years! Robyn has a passion for texture, colour, fabric collage and of course, embroidery.
This 4-day workshop will be on The Peacock and The Rose. The extraordinary project is a stunning combination of ribbon work, layered fabrics and lace, and surface embroidery.
